(Includes Wallpapers, SoundSchemes, & Cursors).

#####  WARNING!!! This theme is for Windows 8.1 only. If you run Windows 8, please use this version: xxinightxx.deviantart.com/art/…  ######
How to install Theme; (Create a system restore point first!)
1. Windows 8.1 users download uxstyle.com/builds/UxStyle_sep…  <---- If already Patched, skip steps 1/2.
2. Install Patch, dont reboot.

4. Reboot DWM or restart system.
5. Enjoy Aero!

Is there a discussion anywhere on how to change anything in the Aero 8.1 Rounded default (or any of the themes)?  I REALLY need to make the taskbar font larger/darker due to eyesight.

I have a problem with the Win 8.1 Update 1 where there is a bug concerning metro context menu and custom skins.
Please fix it.

Weird. Worked perfectly, and then, after rebooting system, it returned to normal win 8.1, and now I cant set this aero 8.1. When I select it from personalisation menu, nothing changes. And if I try to load them directly from file, it  says please wait, flashes screen, and still nothing. Can you help me?

I have a list of fixes:
- The column header style in the Windows Explorer details list is wrong. It was the same white-ish style as in Windows 8, not the one like in Vista
- The caption text is too large, make it 9pt as in Windows 7
- I also hid the Show Desktop button, which is too wide. The padding of the clock text is too wide.
- The caption text in the taskbar thumbnails is white and has no white blur in Windows 7
- In Chrome the right window border is bugged, because they expand the glass area weirdly ;s (not a bug on your side actually)
- The listview color isn't white at some places, it's gray like a button color
- I renamed the theme file to aerolite.msstyles to enable blur on the taskbar and also to keep getting themed WPF controls (otherwise they change to win9x classic style)
- The reflection on the left and right of the window frames doesn't resize with the window, it keeps having the same size. It's like in the Windows 7 basic theme, but aero didn't do it.
- In the start menu, hovering items gives a unicolor blue rectangle like in Windows 8. In the All Programs list, clicking an item makes it temporarily go away and change to the Windows 7 style.
- At the top rounded corners of the window frame, some pixels are too bright (which is not a blurring issue).
- I think the caption buttons on maximized windows are one pixel too low, making a white line being visible above them. In Windows 7 I think there wasn't a white line.
- Fixed some colorization parameters to make the window frame colors like in Windows 7 (they were slightly too bright).

Thanks for the skin, maybe you want to see my fixed version.

Hi,
xXiNightXx, Must have benefited millions of 8.1 users out there who were getting sick by the poor 19C look of MS offering. I am much inspired by guys like you who have a very famous post on the net with lots of thank yous and appreciation, I too do some unique things in windows and perhaps will make similar pose like one of yours. thank you once again.

He xXiNightXx I found a fix to the funky right side glitch! If you use this program: winaero.com/download.php?view.… you can reduce the width and padding of the borders and if you bring both of them down to 1 It fixes the glitch! imgur.com/bYh81Ka
